On 22nd April 2014, the Diocese of Jasidih inaugurated 9 bore wells in different locations for the villagers. Around 1,680 people use these bore wells daily for their water needs. The villagers had to avoid bathing and washing clothes due to severe water scarcity. They drank the contaminated water which was available in their area.
