The youth from St. Thomas Believers Church Cathedral in Niranam Diocese raised funds and took time to visit two juvenile homes on the 13th and 19th of September.
The youth decided to raise money for the trip themselves. They washed cars and sold soft drinks and ice cream to school students to get the necessary funds.
They then visited juvenile homes in Kerala and spent time with the kids there. They taught them songs, organized games and a cricket match and also performed a skit for them. Later the youth sponsored a special lunch for them from the money they raised. The highlight of the programs on the 19th was a pigmy dance that the youth performed for the children.
By visiting these places, Believers Church youth were able to bring joy and hope to many struggling kids.
