Youth Camp held Successfully in Sri Lanka

Believers Church Colombo Diocese held a three day youth retreat from the 14th to the 16th of August.

Nearly 120 youth participated from various Believers Churches throughout the island. The main speaker for the event was Dr. Daniel Johnson. The youth were blessed by his teachings which had practical life instances along with the word of God.

The first and final days ended with a camp fire where the youth had an opportunity to showcase their talents. The participants enjoyed good food and climate on all three days.

Sudarshini (16 years old) said, “This is the first time I am participating in a camp like this. With lots of disturbances in my mind I attended this camp, but after hearing the word of God from the speaker I had a great peace in my mind. I had strong bitterness towards my friend but now it is totally removed from my heart and I feel relief.”

Believers Church takes a strong interest in the lives of youth, molding them through youth fellowship and youth camps like this.
