Women’s Fellowship Teams Serve Fresh Meals to the Elderly

In observance of Mother’s Day, Women’s Fellowship Teams in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu, Nepal, organised various programmes to honour, encourage, and make mothers feel appreciated.

The Women’s Fellowship team of Holy Trinity Believers Eastern Church in Kathmandu district provided a one-time fresh meal to 13 venerable mothers of an old age home. The team spent meaningful time with them and prayed for their good health and longevity. They celebrated the occasion with a cake cutting and also donated dry ration items and hygiene supplies to the home.

On the same day, another Women’s Fellowship Team from Bhaktapur district visited an old age home, where they served fresh meals to 40 old men and women.

In both places, the elderly expressed their thankful hearts to the church and its leaders for showing love and concern by providing the meal.

Bal Kumari, one of the mothers, said, “I would like to thank you for coming to visit us and spending such an important time with us. Along with spending time with us, you also brought us scrumptious food. May God richly bless you all.
