Women’s Fellowship Team Reaches Out to Inmates of Old Age Home

A women’s fellowship team from a local parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Pokhara visited an old age home on 8 March 2022, on the occasion of Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan’s birthday and International Women’s Day.

This home, run by a non-governmental organization, offers shelter to aged population and at present nearly 50 aged men and women are being taken care of at this shelter.

The women’s fellowship team distributed fruit packages to the inmates of the home and the ended the program with cake cutting. They also donated 12 kg worth of vegetables and money to help the old age home.
