Women’s Fellowship Team Distributes Food Packets in a Leprosy Colony

On 31 January 2022, a Women’s Fellowship team from Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Ranchi organized a food distribution program at a leprosy colony in honor of World Leprosy Day.

Most of the residents of this leprosy colony make their living by begging on the streets. They live in acute poverty that they struggle to get even one proper meal a day. By looking at their condition, our women’s fellowship team distributed 70 food packets among them.

The residents were overjoyed to get the food packets and with grateful hearts they thanked the women’s team for blessing them with food.

Adori Oraon said, “During this pandemic situation we are struggling to put food on the table. Thank you for coming to our aid and helping us with meals.”
