Women’s Fellowship Team Distributes Food Packets in an Impoverished Village

A women’s fellowship team from Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod reached out to the residents of an impoverished village in Sunsari District with food packets on 8 March 2022, on the occasion of Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan’s birthday and International Women’s Day.

The team distributed 80 food packets among the poor and needy villagers.

Similarly, another women’s fellowship team from a parish located in Taplejung District gifted elderly women in the community with shawl, soap and face masks, in celebration of the day.

Mrs. Sancharani Limbu said, “Thank you for gifting me this beautiful shawl. I’m touched by your love and concern.”
