Women’s Fellowship Sikkim Visits an Old Age Home on International Widows Day

On 23rd June 2014, International Widows Day, a Women’s Fellowship team from Sikkim visited an old age home. There were 34 men and women living in the old age home.

The team distributed saris and packets of biscuits among the residents and spent some quality time with each of them. Most of the residents came forward and hugged the Women’s Fellowship members. They said, “This is the first time we feel like somebody cares for us in this world.”

On this International Widows Day Believers Church conducted many programs to mark the importance of the day.
