Women’s Fellowship Sikkim Plants 865 Trees on World Environment Day

Twelve Women’s Fellowship teams in Believers Church Sikkim celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2013. They planted 865 trees in different districts. Additionally, one team planted flowers by the roadside and another cleaned the local helipad ground and picnic spot.

Local forest officers were happy to hear that the church was doing this sort of environmental work and offered their help and support.

Women’s Fellowship takes various initiatives like this throughout the year to improve their communities.
