On 15th March 2015, a team of Women’s Fellowship members in Believers Church Diocese of Delhi organized a social welfare program in a home for mentally retarded and disabled people.
62 people are taken care in this home. So, this program was organized to show them compassion as many are abandoned and left out by their dear ones.
The sisters visited each person and spent time with them. Later they distributed mosquito nets, blankets and food provisions needed for one month to each one. The residents were all happy to receive their new gifts and thanked them for visiting them.
Believers Church cares for the neglected, the needy and the downtrodden and provides their most basic needs through organizing similar programs like this.
