A Bible quiz competition took place in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Pokhara in Nepal, bringing together 35 sisters from six different churches for a day of spiritual enlightenment and friendly competition. The event was organized by the area Women’s Fellowship team with the aim of promoting biblical knowledge and fostering a sense of community among participants.
The competition comprised two sessions. In the first session, the diocesan Women’s Fellowship in-charge spoke on the significance of dedicating quality time to prayer, emphasizing its role in spiritual growth and strengthening one’s relationship with God.
Following the message, the second session commenced with an exciting quiz competition. Five teams, representing the participating churches, eagerly vied for victory. The quiz questions were drawn from the books of St. Matthew, the Book of Acts, and the Book of Revelation, encompassing a comprehensive range of biblical teachings and events.
In total, 200 thought-provoking questions were prepared for the competition, meticulously covering various aspects of the chosen books. The questions were presented in three rounds, testing the contestants’ knowledge, recall ability, and understanding of the scriptures. Participants eagerly responded, demonstrating their deep understanding and passion for the Word of God.
As the quiz concluded, the top three teams were recognized for their exceptional performance. Prizes were awarded to the first, second, and third place winners, appreciating their dedication, hard work, and remarkable biblical knowledge.
