Women’s Fellowship Observes International Workers’ Day in Sikkim

On 1st May 2014, a Women’s Fellowship team in Believers Church Sikkim observed International Workers’ Day. To mark the importance of the day they held a blanket distribution program and more than 15 blankets were distributed.

While they team was talking with community members, they met an old lady, Ms. Narmaya, who was suffering from diarrhea from many days. Since her husband’s death she was living alone in her house. The members of Women’s Fellowship team provided medicine and food for her. The old lady was very happy and expressed her gratitude for the care.

Women’s Fellowship is a department of Believers Church that works to empower women through health awareness, adult literacy and many other initiatives.
