Women’s Fellowship Distributes Food to Beggars on Founder’s Day
March 8, 2014Believers Church Udaipur Diocese distributed food to around 100 beggars on 8th March. This is the birthday of Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan and is celebrated as Founder’s Day.
A Women’s Fellowship team prepared food packets and then went to a railway station, bus stops and marketplaces where people were begging. The beggars were so happy to receive a meal from the church.
Similar events to bless the needy were held throughout Believers Church’s dioceses on this day.
