Women’s Fellowship Conducts Health Awareness Program in the Diocese of Jorhat

A team of Women’s Fellowship members in the Diocese of Jorhat organized a health and hygiene awareness program from 30 to 31st May 2014. This was one of several health-related events taking place simultaneously in the diocese. Altogether 180 women from various local churches attended the program.

The main purpose of the program was to raise awareness about health-related issues. Mrs. Sonali (Women’s Fellowship department) talked to them. In her class, she explained to the participants about the importance of leading a healthy and hygienic life.

A vitamin tablet distribution program was also held after the program. The participants were very happy and expressed their gratitude towards church for conducting such a program.
