On World No Tobacco Day, 31st May 2014, Women’s Fellowship members from the Diocese of Bilaspur held an awareness program. Through this program, around 2,000 people were educated about the health hazards of using tobacco.
The team members distributed pamphlets named “Babuji Ab Na Peena” (Papa, Please Don’t Drink) and talked to the people about the need to stop consuming tobacco products.
“You people are doing a noble work by creating awareness,” a passerby who received the pamphlets said, “and your efforts will not go in vain, one day it will yield fruit by creating a healthy society and free many lives addicted to tobacco.”
Believers Church took initiative in each of its diocese to raise awareness against the use of tobacco on this World No Tobacco Day, reaching thousands of people and changing their lives.
