Women’s Fellowship Celebrates Mother’s Day in an Old Age Home

A Women’s Fellowship team in Believers Church Bilaspur Diocese celebrated International Mother’s Day with old and mentally challenged women on 10th May 2014. Seventy five women attended the program.

Sis. Sunita talked to the women about the importance of mothers and how they should be treated in the family. She explained it with the Bible verse “my son, keep your father’s command and do not forsake you mother’s teaching. Bind them always on your heart; and fasten them around your neck” (Proverbs 6:20-21).

Women’s Fellowship members distributed fruits among the women and spent some quality time with them.

This is an example of Believers Church’s efforts on to uplift the downtrodden and neglected.
