Women Seminar Held at St. Luke Believers Eastern Church

The local Women’s Fellowship team of St. Luke Believers Eastern Church in Diocese of Birtamod organized a one-day women’s seminar on 15 August 2022.

Around 30 women from three different local churches of Area No. 5 attended the seminar.

The first session was taken by the district women’s fellowship leader who spoke on the qualities of a wise woman, based on Proverbs 14:1. She talked about how to create a spiritually and an emotionally healthy home.

The second speaker spoked about the influential women of the Bible, about Deborah – who used her abilities to serve God and His people; Ruth – who courageously left everything to start a whole new life; and Tabitha – known for doing good and helping the poor. The speaker encouraged the women to submit themselves to God and never stop helping others and doing good to people.

The seminar was a blessing for the participants as they were greatly encouraged through the Word of God.
Ranju one of the participants said, “I am so much inspired by hearing about the lives of the remarkable women of the Bible and I want to serve God and His people as they did”.
