Women Celebrate New Sewing Skills

Fifteen women graduated from a Bridge of Hope tailoring class in Believers Church Udaipur Diocese on 8th March 2013. This completed their six-month course.

Their teacher, Mrs. Pushpa, was skilled in making both clothes and cloth bags. Through daily lessons, women learned to make bags, frocks, skirts, salwar kameez, blouses, lehengas and baby dresses.

The women’s new tailoring skills will enable them to stitch clothes for themselves and their children, so they can save money on tailoring.

Believers Church uplifts women not only through skill-training, but also literacy classes and health awareness.
