Widows Receive Timely Help in Diocese of Surguja

A Women’s Fellowship team in Believers Church Diocese of Surguja organized a program on June 23, 2016 to honor widows in commemoration of International Widows Day. The program was held in a village where a group of widows had been invited to take part in the commemorative gathering.

These widows are daily laborers who toil hard each day to make ends meet. As it is rainy season and they need umbrellas to protect themselves from rain when they go out for work, the church presented umbrellas to them. Twenty widows received this seasonal gift that day.

They thanked the church for this timely and thoughtful gift.
