Water was scarce in a remote mountaintop village of Rajasthan. Although there was an open well and a hand pump in the village, their water was not sufficient. People had to walk three or four kilometers to fetch water from a brook.
A Believers Church worker learned of the village’s struggle and arranged for the church to drill a bore well in the area. The well was completed in October 2012. It provides plenty of water, and 200 families now regularly use it.
The clean water project of Believers Church helps thousands by providing wells and water filters to needy communities.
