Warm Blankets Distributed to Needy Families in Diocese of Birtamod

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod distributed warm blankets to needy families in two villages of Jhapa District on 13 January 2022.

Altogether, ten families were gifted with the blankets who received the winter aid with much joy and a grateful heart. The beneficiaries were daily-wage laborers and physically-disabled persons.

Kabita Mishra said, “I am so happy that I could receive a warm quality fiber blanket during this winter season. I am thankful to the church for providing blanket to me and my family.”

Yam Kumari Rai, a physically-disabled man said, “During the Covid-19 pandemic, the church had helped me with essential items. Now, during this winter season, the church has again helped me with a warm blanket. I have been using a torn and thin blanket for a long time. Thank you for gifting me this quality blanket. From today onwards, I can sleep peacefully at night. I am extremely thankful to the church for helping me through different means. God bless your kind heart.”
