Villagers Thankful to Diocese of Chandigarh for Solving their Water Crisis

Believers Church Diocese of Chandigarh installed and dedicated a new bore well in a water lacking village on 16th June 2015.

Previously, people here collected water from a water tanker, which comes thrice a week. Most of the time, this water will be insufficient for their needs. So, the church installed this bore well to provide them sufficient water all the time.

Over 700 people got benefited through the installation of this bore well. “Many times, I couldn’t cook food for my family because of the lack of water,” said Sapna, one villager. “But from now onwards, I can fetch enough water all the time and can provide food to my family on time.”

This is just an example of how Believers Church is reducing the struggles of people living in remote and rural areas through its Clean Water Project.
