On 25th May 2014, Believers Church, Diocese of Odisha installed a new bore well in a remote village. More than 30 families are now using this bore well for their daily water needs.
The villagers were extremely poor and they lived in huts made of mud. They depended on open water sources, and that contaminated water exposed them to all types of diseases. Considering their situation, the local pastor requested the diocese to install a bore well in the village.
Pure drinking water can significantly improve the health of entire communities. Through the clean water project the church has changed lives in thousands of places.
