Villagers Facing Water Scarcity Receive BioSand Filters in the Diocese of Bhopal

The Diocese of Bhopal organized a Bio-Sand water filter distribution program in a village on 14th July 2014. Altogether 60 BioSand water filters were distributed to the indigent people.

There was a great scarcity of water in this area and people suffered to buy water for their day-to-day demand. When people from this background received BioSand water filters, huge smiles filled their faces. Recipients were thankful to God and the church for improving their community. Now they filter their drinking water daily.

Br. Ashok Kumar, a villager said, “It is a wonder to me that there is such organization that has concern for poor people, especially for their health. Certainly it will be helpful to the society to improve their lifestyle.”

Believers Church, through its Clean Water Project, offers clear and hygienic water to impoverished communities.
