Believers Church Tezpur Diocese inaugurated a new well on the 10th of September in a remote village.
The village depended on a river which is five kilometres away as their main water source. Also, during summer, it was difficult to get clean water for drinking and cooking. As the villagers were regularly drinking polluted water they were facing health problems.
Realizing these difficulties, Believers Church installed a new well in the village. Now the villagers are able to draw clean water from the new well. Every day nearly 50 families benefit through this well.
Believers Church is able to provide clean drinking water to thousands of villages through bore wells, water tanks and distribution of BioSand water filters.
