On 1st April 2014, the Diocese of Nellore inaugurated a bore well for the villagers. People in the village now use this bore well for their daily water needs.
The villagers were facing water scarcity for a long time. Mainly they depended on rain for water; in the summer they used the nearby pond. The water was contaminated with mud and impure. The villagers didn’t have another option apart from using this water.
By drilling bore wells the church helps thousands of villagers like this to eradicate waterborne diseases.
