Uttarakhand Diocese Inaugurates Bore Well for Villagers

On 4th January 2014, Believers Church Uttarakhand installed a bore well. More than 200 people are benefiting from the new well.

In this particular village there was a hand pump which was not giving sufficient water. The entire village was facing water scarcity and water-related diseases. They couldn’t afford a bore well for themselves because all of them were daily laborers. Considering this situation, Believers Church installed a bore well.

Mr. Amit said, “I am thankful to the church for installing a bore well in our village. I had to go far to get water, but now by the grace of the Lord I can get water at any time. I appreciate the social service of the church for the benefit of the community.”

Believers Church always takes an initiative to make a difference in people’s life. They work among impoverished communities, providing clean water through BioSand water filters and bore wells.
