Uttarakhand Floods 2013 – Believers Eastern Church
In June 2013, Uttarakhand was severely flooded due to an unexpected cloudburst which continued for two days. Entire villages were devastated and transportation became almost impossible due to landslides. Thousands lost their lives in the flood and many more were stranded or left without homes.
BELIEVERS CHURCH RELIEF EFFORTS
Despite hazardous road conditions, Believers Church Compassion Teams traveled to the affected areas as soon as possible. So far, Believers Church has distributed more than 18,700 kg of relief supplies to 800 families. The relief work is ongoing and reports will be added as the work continues.
