Uttarakhand Relief Team Delivers Supplies By Helicopter

Relief teams from Believers Church Uttarakhand continued relief work on July 10th in Rudraprag District. Partnering with the SDM, they used a government helicopter to reach those villages inaccessible by motor vehicles.

The team made six trips in the helicopter and were able to bring in 94 sacks of ration at a temporary helipad. They were then able to distribute the supplies from that location.

94 families were benefited. Each family received rice (5 kg), dal (2 kg), atta (5 kg), sugar (1kg), salt (1 kg), oil (1 L), candles (1 pkt) , a matchbox and first aid kit. The villagers were very thankful to Believers Church for the timely help.

Relief work by Believers Church is continuing to help those affected by the recent floods in the state of Uttarakhand.
