The graduation of a free tailoring course for impoverished women occurred in Believers Church Pokhara Diocese on 17th September. The ceremony celebrated 25 women completing the six month course.
Bishop Dr. Narayan Sharma presented certificates to each of the tailoring graduates. The women happily received this acknowledgement of their new skill and thanked Believers Church for extending help to them.
Throughout their six months of training, the class of women learned much more than tailoring. They also received teaching about various topics such as health, hygiene and literacy.
This tailoring center is one of six centers run through Bridge of Hope in Pokhara Diocese. Vocational training is just one of the many ways Believers Church uplifts communities.
