Believers Church Diocese of Jorhat inaugurated a bore well in a tribal village on World Water Day, 22nd March 2016.
The villagers previously used to go and fetch water from other villages for their daily needs. It wasn’t easy for them to walk long distances by carrying the heavy pots. But they were forced to do it, as they did not have any other water sources available in their village. So, the church installed this well to help them to have instant access to water.
Now, they can access clean and safe drinking water any time they want. All the villagers thanked the church for solving their water crisis.
On World Water Day, Believers Church enabled the water-lacking communities to have access to pure and safe drinking water by installing bore wells and distributing BioSand Water Filters.
