Tribal Villagers in Diocese of Ranchi Receive 8 Bore Wells

Believers Church Diocese of Ranchi installed new bore wells in eight tribal villages on 27th and 28th September 2014. Over 400 people benefit from these wells every day.

The main reason for digging these wells was the lack of clean drinking water in the locality of these people. They used to drink the water from open wells and ponds, which is contaminated with mud and dirt. So the church saw their need for clean drinking water and decided to install new bore wells for them.

The villagers were so happy for their new source of water and thanked the church for helping them.

The Church’s Clean Water Project provides pure and sustainable drinking water to poverty-stricken families to ensure access to one of life’s most basic need.
