Tribal Community Amazed by the Great Impact of BioSand Water Filter

Believers Church Tinsukia distributed BioSand water filters to 19 families from a tribal community on 17th September 2014.

Previously, these families used muddy pond water or iron contaminated water from the bore well installed in their village directly without purifying it. This often caused diarrhea, itching, stomach pain, fever and cold-coughs. So the church distributed these water filters in order to help them to purify and access clean water.

Baiti distributed the filters and explained how they work, and how they prevent disease and ensure health. Later he poured some mud water to the filter and showed them the change in the water they got. They were amazed to see the clean and clear water and they thanked church for providing them BioSand water filters.

Believers Church provides clean and safe drinking water to rural areas and thereby ensures their good health through the clean water project.
