Tree Plantation-Cum-Cleanliness Drive Mark Independence Day Celebration in Diocese of Mumbai

Believers Church Diocese of Mumbai celebrated the 70th Independence Day on 15th August 2016.

Sunday School children and youths of the diocese carried out various activities such as plantation drive, cultural program and clean-up drives to commemorate the occasion.

A large number of children and youths took active part in planting saplings at various locations. In every place, they also organized awareness campaign and motivated the general public to plant more trees to save the planet earth.

Another group consisting of Sunday school children conducted cultural program and performed a patriotic dance in every junction of a village. The villagers appreciated their work and special performance.

The youths and Sunday school children also involved in clean-up drives on this day and they cleaned the premises of panchayat office and police station.
