Tourism Minister Inaugurates Mosquito Net Distribution in Diocese of Kolkata
November 17, 2014Believers Church Diocese of Kolkata conducted a mosquito net distribution program for extremely poor people living in a slum on 17th November 2014.
Shri. Bratya Basu (Honorable Minister for Tourism) was the chief guest of the program and he appreciated the church for the concern showed towards the protection of their health. Then Minister along with Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan distributed the nets to each beneficiary.
1,000 families received mosquito nets during this program and they expressed their earnest thanks towards the church.
Believers Church organizes similar programs like this throughout its all dioceses to ensure the health of people in developing communities.
