Tinsukia Diocese Distributes BioSand Water Filters
March 22, 2014Believers Church Tinsukia Diocese held a BioSand Water Filter Distribution program on 22nd March 2014. 16 BioSand Water Filters were distributed among tea garden workers.
The water available in this area is contaminated with iron and sand. Unfiltered, this water can cause waterborne diseases. Considering this situation Believers Church conducted a class for the tea garden workers on BioSand water filters how it cleans contaminated water. The recipients were very happy for the class and filters.
Believers Church has distributed thousands of BioSand water filters through its clean water project. The filters contribute to the health of entire communities and improve the lifestyle of the poor and suffering.
