Tinsukia Diocese Distributes 33 BioSand Water Filters
April 26, 2014Believers Church Tinsukia Diocese held a BioSand water filter distribution program on 26th April 2014. Overall 33 families received filters and learned how to use them.
The water available in this area was contaminated with iron and sand. This impure water exposed the villagers to all types of waterborne diseases. With the help of the filters they can now purify the water.
BioSand water filters contribute to the health of entire communities and improve the lifestyle of people. Through the clean water project Believers Church distributed more than 20,000 BioSand water filters to the poor and needy.
