Believers Church Tinsukia Diocese held medical camps for Bridge of Hope children on 16th and 18th August. More than 200 people attended the program.
Rev.Fr. Ganesh talked to the people about the importance of washing hands and some other basic health tips. The necessity of practicing hygiene in the home was also emphasized in the talk. Dr. A.K. Sen examined all the people. Free first aid, medicines, vitamin tablets and deworming tablets were distributed.
One of the community members attending the camp was a woman named Rakhi. Her son was suffering from a fever and skin disease. They couldn’t consult a doctor due to their poor economic condition. But he was able to get a free medical checkup and appropriate medicines from the medical camp.
Through awareness classes, medical camps and vitamin distribution programs, Believers Church helps improve the health of thousands of impoverished communities.
