Tea Garden Workers Receive BioSand Water Filters in Tinsukia Diocese

Believers Church Tinsukia Diocese distributed 18 BioSand water filters on 22nd January in a village inhabited by tea garden workers. The water here contained iron and sand. People struggled to get safe water, and many were affected with waterborne diseases.

After surveying the area, Rajendra (BioSand department) delivered filters to the community. He taught about the benefits and use of the filters.

Just like in thousands of other communities, this village will now be able to drink pure, safe water through Believers Church BioSand water filter project.
