Tailoring Students Graduate on International Women’s Day

Believers Church Diocese of Odisha held a graduation program for tailoring students on International Women’s Day, 8th March 2015. Over 600 women witnessed the program.

A team of Women’s Fellowship members and Sisters of Compassion took initiative to organize the program and they invited Mrs. Radharani Panda (MLA) and Mrs. Geetanjali Bhoi (Child Development Project Officer) as the chief guests.

MLA encouraged the gathered women by sharing about the difficulties and struggles she had gone through to reach this far. She also urged them to stand strong and believe in their own abilities. Later, she distributed the certificates to the graduates and sewing machines to two widows.

This International Women’s Day, Believers Church encouraged thousands of women and helped them to be self-supporting throughout all the dioceses by organizing programs like this.
