Tailoring Graduation Held in Nellore Diocese

Believers Church Nellore Diocese held a tailoring graduation ceremony in one of its Bridge of Hope centers on the 15th of August.

Mr. K. Vasanthaiah (Mandal Telugudesam Party Leader) was invited as the chief guest. He distributed the certificates to the graduating women who were proud to receive them.

Annamma a graduate said, “My husband is a drunkard. He used to beat me very badly and all his money was spent for alcohol. At that time I joined in Bridge of Hope’s tailoring center and I learned tailoring. Now I am getting 400 rupees per day and it is meeting all my financial needs.”

Another graduate called Eswaramma shared that she was maintaining a small tiffin center. Since her earnings were not sufficient, she joined Bridge of Hope’s tailoring training and she is earning more money now.

Through Bridge of Hope’s tailoring centers, Believers Church gives vocational training to women and thereby empowering them and increasing their income levels.
