Hope for Children Budhabare in the Diocese of Birtamod proudly celebrated the graduation of seven students from its 10th batch of the six-month tailoring course program. The ceremony was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the trainees, who showcased their newly acquired skills by exhibiting the dresses they had sewn over the past six months.
Each graduate was awarded a certificate of completion, and some received special awards in recognition of their hard work and perseverance.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Parshuram Chemjong, Chairman of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality Ward No. 3, said, “I have been familiar with the Hope for Children Project and its mission, vision, and goals from the beginning, and I truly appreciate the efforts taken by HFC to bring positive changes to the community.” He also pledged his ongoing support for the project.
Dr. Nima Tamang, a physician at Budhabare City Hospital, expressed his admiration for the initiative, saying, “I cherish and respect the efforts by HFC to empower women and make them self-dependent.”
Rev. Fr. Prem, the local BEC church priest, extended his best wishes to the graduates and warmly welcomed the newcomers with a round of applause, encouraging them on their journey ahead.
