Sunday School Teacher’s Training Held in Diocese of Birtamod

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Birtamod in Nepal organized a Sunday School Teachers’ Training Program at St. Paul’s Believers Eastern Church from 2nd to 3rd May 2023. The two-day event aimed to equip selected Sunday school teachers from local churches with essential skills and knowledge to enhance the quality and effectiveness of their teaching and strengthen the local Sunday school.

Altogether, 25 Sunday school teachers from different local churches of Taplejung, Panchthar and Ilam districts attended the training. The training program covered a wide range of topics such as understanding age characteristics of children, utilizing Sunday school textbooks, implementing weekly activities, understanding the responsibilities and qualifications of Sunday School teachers, and teaching techniques inspired by the methods employed by Jesus.

Teachers also received guidance on how to systematically prepare and deliver engaging Sunday school lessons, ensuring that each session effectively conveys the teachings of the faith.
