Sunday School Students Conduct Awareness Rally on World No Tobacco Day

The Diocese of Nellore held an awareness rally on World No Tobacco Day, 31st May 2014. More than 20 students participated in the rally.

All the students carried placards and banners stating the health hazards of tobacco. They raised slogans and challenged people to stop using tobacco products.

Bro. Venkateswara, a villager who used tobacco for many years, said, “This rally inspired me to stop smoking. From now onward I will try to stop this bad habit.” Many other people also came forward and took the pledge that they will say no to tobacco.

Believers Church conducted programs like this in all its dioceses to spread awareness about the dangers of tobacco.
