Accessing clean water had been the biggest challenge these women from a small tea estate in Assam faced.
A slow trickle produced from a thin pipe was the only viable source of water the entire village had access to. The people of this village had to spend half of their day waiting in line to collect water from this pipe. They desperately wanted a well to be built in this village, but they could only dream of having one. They struggled to get sufficient water for their daily needs and survival, not until Believers Eastern Church installed a tube well in their village. Today, everything has changed.
With a tube well in the middle the village, the women now can collect as much clean water as possible and at any time. They also have enough time to focus on things that would earn them an income and improve their families’ future.
