St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church Cathedral Holds Talent Fest 2022

With the aim of providing an opportunity for children to showcase their flair and skills, St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church Cathedral organized a talent fest for the youth and Sunday School children of the parish on 12 November 2022.

The talent fest was organized in five categories in which around 50 children from age 3 to 17 enthusiastically participated and showcased their talents in various activities.

The competitions commenced with prayer by one of the parish priests who led the audience in a short prayer to invoke God’s blessings on all participants and for the success of the event.

The talent competitions kicked off with solo singing competition by the infants who surprised the audience and judges with their beautiful voices and melodious singing.

This was followed by action songs, Bible quiz, memory verse reciting, elocution, colouring, pencil drawing, storytelling, group song and instrumental music.

These events not only helped in bringing out the hidden talents of children but also in removing stage fear in them.

The children entertained the audience with their scintillating performances and gave a tough time to judges to decide the winners.

The first, second and third winners of all five categories will be rewarded during the celebration of the Feast of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple on Sunday.
