On 23rd January 2025, the Hope for Children center at Hatbakoil in the Chapainawabganj District of Bangladesh organized a goat distribution program to support vulnerable families in the community. A total of 18 families benefited from the initiative, with beneficiaries selected in collaboration with Family Forum, Child Parliament Units, and local leaders.
The program aimed to provide financial support to families by equipping them with sustainable tools that enable them to become self-sufficient, ultimately contributing to the creation of a nurturing environment for children.
Expressing her gratitude, Beauty Bormon, a recipient of the program, shared: “I am truly grateful to receive this goat today. As a needy family in the community, we have struggled for a long time. With no land of our own to build a house, we have been living on my maternal uncle’s property, but he has been urging us to leave. This uncertainty weighed heavily on us, and we did not know where to turn or how to afford a home. Receiving this goat brings us new hope. Thank you, Hope for Children, for this generous support—it means so much to us.”
This initiative by Hope for Children reflects a commitment to uplifting communities, providing sustainable support, and empowering families to build a better future for their children.
