South Indian Children Imitate World AIDS Day Marchers

Believers Church Chennai Diocese observed World AIDS Day on 1st December 2008 in a community and helped them learn about AIDS. Political and church leaders participated in this awareness program in the morning along with Minor Seminary students.

Dr. Pandian, special guest, gave detailed information on AIDS, how it affects the body and the kind of precautions required. Mr. Manoharan (Panchayat Union Chairman) then flagged off an awareness rally.

Church workers and seminary students moved through the streets of the community with much enthusiasm. Locals welcomed the rally, and some children even started shouting slogans along with the marchers.

Believers Church raised awareness in many parts of South Asia on World AIDS Day in an effort to develop a healthier nation.
