Solemn celebration of 65th birthday of Moran Mor Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan

On the morning of Tuesday, August 27, 2024, a special service took place at the St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church Cathedral to commemorate the 65th birthday of H.H. Moran Mor Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan. Priests, deacons, and members of the St. Thomas Community gathered to offer prayers for the continued health and strength of the honorable Metropolitan, as well as blessings for the years ahead, as he continues his fruitful service to the Church.

This was followed by a cake-cutting celebration held at the Church’s global headquarters, with H.G. Joshua Mor Barnabas Episcopa presiding over the functions.

People from various parishes, dioceses, and Church institutions, as well as from different religious, social, and political fields, also visited the Metropolitan at the Church’s global headquarters to extend their birthday wishes.
