The Believers Church community in Jammu and Kashmir arranged a nation-building activity on Independence Day at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in Gangyal. The purpose of the program was to clean up the polluted areas of the hospital.
This Nation Building Social Volunteer Service was inaugurated by Mr. Inderjeet Abrol (High Court Advocate), who had been invited as the guest of honor for the Independence Day celebration and flag-hoisting ceremony.
After the inauguration, the participants marched out as a rally, ending at the Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. The main doctor and the other hospital staff were very happy to welcome them and greatly appreciated that a church father with his team was coming to help clean up their hospital campus.
The whole program was well-organized by Rev. Fr. Jagan (Vicar General) and Pr. John (Minor Seminary principal). Minor Seminary students and local church members were excited to be involved and took active part in the social welfare work.
